FAQ - SHOW

How to become a Parisian in one hour? lasts 70 minutes without an interval. You will therefore leave the theatre des Nouveautés approximately 1h20/1h25 min after the announced time (e.g. show at 7pm > exit around 8.20pm).

Since the very first performance of his show ‘How to become a Parisian in one hour?’, Olivier Giraud has been available to thank his audience after the show. You can chat with him in the exit hall and take photos with him.

It is forbidden to consume food or drink in the auditorium, with the exception of bottled water.

Olivier Giraud’s show is performed entirely in English (with the exception of a few French words), and is highly accessible so that it can be understood by as many people as possible.

How to become a Parisian in one hour’ is an intergenerational and intercultural show. Each spectator has different sensitivities, particularly due to cultural differences, but Olivier Giraud’s show must show a frank, honest and authentic vision of Parisian reality. The show therefore contains passages (insults) and themes (sexuality) that could offend the sensibilities of younger audiences. Performances are therefore prohibited for under-10s and not recommended for under-16.

You may not film or take photos throughout the show in order to ensure the comfort of other spectators and to comply with current legislation (article L. 335-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code).

Fortunately, it is extremely rare for a show to be cancelled. If this is the case, the reason is force majeure (illness, accident, administrative closure, etc.). If we are obliged to cancel the show, our priority is to inform our fans in advance via our various retailers. We will then offer to reschedule your tickets for a later date or refund your money.

To ensure that your evening at the Théâtre des Nouveautés runs smoothly, we recommend that you arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the performance time. The curtain rises at the time indicated on your ticket.
