This emblematic venue, ideally located in the heart of Paris on the Grands Boulevards, is one of the French capital’s most festive spots. Unnoticed from 24 Bld Poissonnière as it is located underground, under the parterre of the Max Linder cinema, the Théâtre des Nouveautés (4th of the name) was created in 1921 by Adolphe Tiers, architect of the reconstruction of the Moulin Rouge.

This emblematic theatre has stood the test of time, retaining its authentic charm to the point where you might think you were entering an ancient temple. The decorator Alice Courtois, renowned for her restaurant designs, has reinterpreted the antique motifs here. These decorations, whose Pompeian red alternating with the gold of the painted panels produces an incomparable effect, are without equal. Preserved, they have withstood the test of time and are the hallmark of Les Nouveautés, a unique and atypical Parisian theatre.
